This game is designed to help children communicate affection to those they love, develop boundaries within relationships, and address fears related to rejection or loss of a relationship. Children will have the opportunity to role-play and discuss how to communicate affection appropriately and the importance of communicating emotions to loved ones. The game addresses social skills and friendship development and can be helpful in family situations to enhance communication.
Game Card Topics Include:
Connected Friendships: Kids will identify ways to look for social cues, communicate on a deeper level, and show empathy and compassion for others to deepen relationships and have more meaningful friendships.
The Language of Love: These cards address the five love languages to help children recognize that people send and receive love in different ways. They will be better prepared to communicate in a way that others can receive it.
Love in Action: The cards challenge children to consider acts of kindness to show love in a tangible way.
Healing a Broken Heart: A typical reaction to a broken heart is to retreat and pull away from relationships. These cards help kids process hurts to release them and to find ways to set healthy boundaries to offer protection in the future.
